Outpatient Services Medical Assistant

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an outpatient setting, providing clinical and clerical support to patients. As a medical assistant, you will work closely with physicians and nurses to provide high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with direct patient care, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and other services as outlined in workflow protocol.
• Perform pre-visit planning by reviewing recent test results and updating the patient record accordingly.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam room. Perform vital signs chief complaint medication reconciliation histories and other services as outlined in workflow protocol. Note all patient complaints in EMR.
