Job Description

Looking for a motivated, friendly, and reliable person to continue our outstanding customer service for all our patrons. Some stocking is required, lite cleaning duties, and attention to detail is a must.

As a Supermarket Cashier, your primary role will be at the checkout, responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy in handling customer transactions are critical.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Handling cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Ensuring accurate pricing, applying discounts, and issuing receipts for customer transactions.
Maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with cash handling
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 20 pounds
