    Opportunity for Chief Medical Officer
    ParkTree Community Health Center is seeking an experienced Physician Leader for our CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER position.

    The CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER, as part of the Executive Management team, will lead and oversee the provision of medical services, focusing on population health and integration of healthcare services at our health centers.

    ParkTree Community Health Center was founded in 2005 and was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2014.

    Located in the cities of Pomona and Ontario California, ParkTree provides integrated medical, oral health, mental health, chiropractic, podiatry, and optometry services to nearly 14,000 individuals at 5 service locations (within a 10-mile radius).

    The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will report to, and work closely with, the Chief Executive Officer.

    The CMO will collaborate with other senior leaders and the Board of Directors to develop and implement the strategic initiatives of the organization.

    Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight of all daily aspects of the clinical functions of the medical department.
    Responsible for recruitment of health center physicians, nurse practitioners, and providers.
    Supervises and supports medical providers, including conducting annual provider performance evaluations.

    Promotes high quality and fiscally sustainable patient care through the establishment of performance benchmarks, clinical policies and procedures, and consistent evidence-based standards of care.

    Promotes the principles of population health, integration, and patient centered care.

    Ensures quality and safety of the clinical program as defined in ParkTree's Quality Management Plan and Risk Management/Patient Safety Plan.

    Oversees the Credentialing and Privileging process for licensed medical staff.

    Ensures clinical compliance with HRSA Program Requirements of a Federally Qualified Health Center, Federal Torts Claim Act (FTCA), and other regulatory bodies.

    Collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and others to achieve clinical, financial, quality, and other organization established goals.

    Serves as a liaison and preceptor for provider-based community academic and training programs.
    Provides clinical leadership representation at local, state, and regional/national primary care and health-related organizations.
    Provide direct patient care, (40-50% clinical / 50-60% administrative) serving as a role model for clinical excellence.

    Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited medical school with a M.Active Board Certification in a field of medicine.

    Ability to adapt to a continually evolving environment of a small to mid-size Federally Qualified Health Center.
    Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail in a fast-moving workplace.
