    MUST:
    1+ years experience in Accounting particularly in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Team)
    Strong communications skills
    Able to work independently and with a team.
    High school diploma, an associate degree in Accounting a plus.


    DUTIES:

    Assist in Accounts Payable by reviewing vendor monthly account statements, emailing daily invoice adjustments to vendors, providing vendors state tax exemption forms and resale certificates, completing credit card authorization forms for purchases, reviewing posted invoices for posting errors, file vendor invoices and other documentation.

    Assist in Accounts Receivable by emailing customer statements, following up on payment status, recording into spreadsheet daily checks received by mail, emailing customer invoices.

    Complete new customer registrations, vendor credit applications, customer reference checks, ordering and emailing COI (Certificates of Insurance) to customers, and ordering office supplies.

    Assist with other projects as needed by Controller or senior management.
