    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), you will work one-on-one with students with special needs to help them learn more effectively, academically, and socially through play. Under the supervision of our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), you will deliver a curriculum that has been determined as appropriate and ideal from formal assessments, and proven effective, from over 70 years of scientifically evidenced research.

    Registered Behavior Technicians and/or Applied Behavior Analysis Technicians are the backbone of ABA Therapy. They are responsible for administering evidence-based therapies directly to clients. This will always be under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT/ABAT role is responsible for each individual session's success including: set-up, delivery of session, data collection, and break-down.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Applicants are expected to love working with young children, demonstrate a strong ability to be fun and creative within play, and demonstrate eagerness to learn new concepts.

    • Ability to interact with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a variety of settings for a variety of purposes.
    • Ability to work with clients in their natural environments and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time).
    • Ability to work with grace under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a team and to share responsibilities and duties.
    • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict in a straightforward and timely manner.
    • Ability to set priorities, be organized, and be a self-starter.
    • Ability to be friendly, empathetic, and an adept communicator.
    • Ability to treat both staff and patients with respect
    • Bi-lingual (preferred)

    Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or higher
    • Completion of Applied Behavioral Analysis Registered Behavior Technician training or Applied Behavior Analysis Technician training.
    • Strong interest in applied behavior analysis as a career

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to pass a federal, state and county background check.
    • Be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
    • Reliable transportation and insurance where applicable
    • Willingness to travel to and from clients' homes within 30 minutes of your location.
    • Sound technical and computer skills and reliable internet access.
    • Maintain BLS,CPR/ First Aid Certification

    Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

    Salary: $ $24.00 per hour
