    Description

    COMPENSATION: $16.00/hr.

    LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

    SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and setting up rooms for special events.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Maintain building by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, dusting, and polishing floors
    • Maintain restroom areas clean
      • Sweep and mop floors
      • Refill all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap
      • Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters
      • Empty/remove the trash
    • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders to prepare facilities for events such as auctions and meetings
    • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
    • Complete daily work orders as scheduled
    • Dispose of garbage
    • Other duties may be assigned
    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • High school diploma required
    • 1+ years of experience in a janitorial work environment
    • Strong ability to follow written and oral instruction
    • The individual will consistently lift to 50 pounds
    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individual must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
