    We are seeking a Controls Engineer who's responsibilities include designing and programming all requirements of assigned projects to maintain project schedules, design standards, customer specifications, quote requirements, software standards, and documentation.

    This candidate must be able to maintain project schedules and budgets.

    The ideal candidate for this role will be an involved team member, seeking constant growth and have an enthusiasm for challenges in this ever-changing industry.


    Summary of essential job functions:
    Designing electrical schematics and Bills of Materials according to company and regulatory standards.
    Create and document control system software programs using structured programming techniques, for PLCs, HMIs, PCs, and Robots as necessary.
    Setting and maintaining departmental standards for drawings, programming, and design.
    Conducting technical training to enhance the departments expertise.
    Managing project schedules, ensuring goals are met, and seeking assistance when necessary.
    Testing and troubleshooting machines and systems, both in-house and on-site.
    Adhering to correct wiring practices and updating documentation post-completion.
    Contributing to the machine operation manual with a focus on control and operation instructions.
    Maintaining professional interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
    Aiding the sales team by assessing customer requirements, suggesting exceptions, and calculating costs based on experience.
    Attending design and review meetings for projects.
    Offering customer support for control system queries.
    Traveling for installations and sales-related activities.
    Assisting with quotes, pricing, and planning in the Applications department.
    Leading and mentoring junior engineers in design and programming skills.
    20-25% Travel.
