    Description

    We require excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and employees. You should have strong mathematical skills along with communication & organizational skills. This position is detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy. The applicant must have a competence with computers, telephone, 10-key calculator and other office machinery.

    Responsibilities

    · Receive and count cash

    · Reconcile cash drawer

    · Identify customers, validate and cash checks

    · Accept cash and checks for deposit and verify accuracy of deposit slips

    · Process cash withdrawals

    · Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier's checks, personal money orders, gift cards, license stickers, etc

    · Perform services for customers such as ordering checks and debit cards

    · Receive and verify loan payments

    · Answer customer questions regarding bank products and services

    · Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank policy

    · Attempt to resolve issues with customer accounts

    · Initiate and open new accounts

    · Understand, explain, advise and promote bank products and services to customers

    · Answer phones in a professional manner

    Qualifications
