    Position Overview

    The Equipment Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring that all necessary equipment is secured and delivered to any/all projects under development within the Dutch Bros system. They understand all DB equipment thoroughly and serve as a resource to internal and external stakeholders. This person plans and manages projects, including scope and budget, as well as finding opportunities to improve efficiency. They guarantee project completion and facilitate thorough communication throughout the process.

    Job Qualifications
    • 7 years of experience in construction management, equipment, or procurement, required
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience leading teams, preferred
    • This position is required to drive, when necessary
    Location Requirement:
    • This position is based in Phoenix, AZ
    Key Result Areas (KRAs)

    Identify project needs, maintain up-to-date Project board, and follow through to completion:
    • Ensure that equipment is in good condition, functional, and delivered on time
    • Develops the budget and assists with the research of various equipment options in cases of upgrading those for the betterment of the company
    • Coordinates the transportation of the equipment to the project site (or other location determined by the team)
    • Training on the various types of equipment to understand the use, maintenance, and functionality
    • Act as the Equipment SME (Subject Matter Expert) at any given moment to facilitate problems in the field during installation, operation, and maintenance of the equipment
    • Ensure all legal agreements and contracts are being tracked and filed appropriately
    • Ensure all the equipment works effectively to help ensure the safety of the users
    • Stay updated on the latest technologies in the market in cases of upgrading or replacing the equipment
    • Understand the organization, operation, and processes of the CRED Department necessary to successfully accomplish assigned responsibilities
    • Establish and maintain complete records and files
    • Maintain current CRED project list(s)
    Serve as a resource to contractors, vendors, and Franchisees/ Operators in regard to projects and requests:
    • Coordinates directly with the DB Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, and vendors to ensure that timelines and expectations are effectively communicated from beginning to end of the project
    • Maintain good relationships with all vendors, suppliers, contractors, and co-workers
    • Prepare written & verbal correspondence
    • Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines
    • Other duties as assigned
    Source and purchase needed equipment to facilitate new shop openings to meet company objectives:
    • Responsible for ensuring that all necessary shop equipment is secured, delivered, and installed for any/all projects under development within the Dutch Bros system
    • Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities by identifying alternate sources and vendors
    • Actively manage performance and relationship of all equipment and equipment installation vendors
    • Proactively manage the inbound flow of equipment needs to maintain supply continuity
    • Manage KES and installation vendors to ensure timelines are consistently met
    • Coordinate with installation vendors to develop functional scope of work documents establishing performance guidelines for work to be performed
    • Perform RFPs for KES and installation vendors as needed to support operational growth needs
