    Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    We would love a school-based experienced Occupational Therapist to join the ProCare team for the next schoolyear.

    The school district we have partnered with is a supportive one that always keeps its staffs needs top of mind.

    You would be servicing a K-5th grade caseload full time. Interviews are being conducted right now, so please reach to me to be considered for this position


    Job Details:
    Onsite location near the Norfolk, Virginia area
    Start in August
    # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services director during interview


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
    Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
    Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
    Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.

    Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.

    Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.


    Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    Current state license in Virginia
    Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
    Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
