    Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform computed tomography scans on patients as ordered by physicians.
    • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring they are in good working condition.
    • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of anatomy and cross-sectional imaging techniques.
    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

    Requirements:

    • ARRT (R)(CT) credential required.
    • BLS Certification required.
    • Candidates must have experience with CT scanning equipment and software.
    • Preferred skills include cardiac experience and hospital experience over a year.

    Work Schedule:

    This position is available for day shift, evening, weekends, and night shift rotations. The work schedule includes 2-3 staff members during day shifts, 2 techs during daytime weekends, and 1 staff member during night shifts.

    Working Conditions:

    • The department has a positive and fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork.
    • The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Floating areas may include X-Ray services.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    The salary for this position is $68,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
