    We are looking for an

    IT Manager


    for the IT group, which is responsible for the planning, maintenance, operation, implementation and support of IT-related products and services at the company.

    The IT department is both a support organization and sets company policy on equipment, security, access, etc.

    The

    IT Manager

    leads functions of hardware fulfillment, helpdesk support and staff therein. The role involves capacity planning, onboarding, purchasing, configuration, shipment, and retirement of IT hardware, software, and related user accounts.

    The role also involves establishing Service Level agreements with leadership, alongside supervising and training staff to meet these agreements via a support system.

    The

    IT Manager

    role is a lead role within the IT department.

    This position will require the demonstration of leadership and will include the supervision of a more junior staff member(s) within the IT department.

    Effective supervision will include the delegation of tasks to more junior staff members within the department while maintaining ultimate responsibility for the completion of tasks.

    The role will also require demonstration of proactivity and independence. The role is also a working manager role. The

    IT Manager

    will be expected to serve as a backup technician when staff are out of office.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Management of vendors related to IT assets (hardware, conferencing, software)

    Purchase IT hardware and software (including laptops, monitors, peripherals, networking, conferencing)

    Partner with People & Culture department to coordinate hardware rollouts to new staff

    Lead shipping & tracking of hardware to and from end user and office locations

    Lead team to perform new hardware configuration/setup for new hires

    Establish and maintain lifecycle management for IT assets

    Lead coordination of employee onboarding and offboarding for user hardware and accounts

    Work with IT Director and Finance to plan and adhere to IT budget

    Establish IT support SLAs with IT Director and company leadership

    Implement and maintain IT ticket system

    Oversee completion of IT support and service requests within SLA

    Develop staff to grow and succeed in various Information Technology career tracks

    Partner with IT Support manager to minimize errors

    Partner with Systems Administration function to find efficiencies in onboarding/offboarding

    Other duties as needed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    5+ years related experience in IT support, logistics, fulfillment, and/or asset management

    Experience in purchasing, negotiating contracts, account reconciliation, and allocations

    Experience configuring laptop operating systems and user accounts

    Experience implementing and configuring a help desk system

    Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team

    Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

    Knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and networking

    Ability to work and thrive independently

    A team player, able to work well with and be accommodating of their supervisor and other staff throughout the company

    Salary


    DOE:
    $105,000 - $130,000 / Annually

    Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package.

    Energy Solutions is a predominantly remote workforce with offices in six different locations.
