- Work with professionals from the sales and strategy teams to gain a thorough understanding of the strategic goals, fundraising objectives, and marketing plans for each assigned client.
- Gain a clear understanding of client personalities and hot buttons, working toward developing and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day issues, being sure to include the entire account team in all high-level communications.
- Manage Annual Production Schedules where Edge Direct manages all programs.
- Attend client meetings and travel as necessary.
- Schedule and coordinate "Campaign Reviews" with relevant stakeholders.
- Work with strategists to determine and track package configuration to maximize program performance and minimize cost.
- Work with chart pricing and/or external suppliers to determine specific package costs.
- Write Concept Memos in conjunction with the strategy team to outline prior campaign results, current testing strategies, and projections to the client.
- Write Creative Briefs to direct Creative Team to develop various fundraising programs, including copywriting, to follow the strategic mail/testing plan set forth by Strategist/Sales.
- Work with team to facilitate client presentations and present creative/programmatic elements to clients.
- Facilitate the sourcing of letter copy.
- Prepare and communicate key date schedules to keep client in sync with strategic timelines and supplier production schedules.
- Prepare package components for client approval and solicit written approval on all package components by providing client with relevant information.
- Prepare necessary paperwork to facilitate the purchase of artwork necessary to meet program goals.
- Coordinate with company suppliers to manage the on-time and flawless execution of all programs.
- Escalate job-specific issues that may create production challenges and collaborate with team to implement solutions.
- Manage postal paperwork necessary to establish appropriate client mail permits and additional entry authorizations.
- Provide the Data Team with a completed mail grid and imaging dummy along with the data.
- Work with the Data Team to complete Data Processing and Imaging Instructions for data vendors and mail houses.
- Traffic all activity with external letter shops to ensure jobs stay on track.
- Prepare client invoicing, ensuring that final program costs are aligned with the budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Technical savvy, comfortable working with web and social applications.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and creative software a plus.

We're currently searching for a tenured Senior Account Director to support our nonprofit clients. The Senior Account Director works closely with the agency account lead and strategy team to direct the on-time and on-budget development, creation, and execution of direct marketing fundraising programs for our agency clients. This professional serves as a primary contact to the client, as well as to internal and external partners, from program initiation through invoicing. Additionally, they are focused on exceptional customer service, making sure all stakeholders' needs are being met in a timely manner.
