The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within their assigned area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety targets as well as long-term goals linked to the overall targets of the plant through planning and execution of Lean tools.
- Monitor workflow adjust staffing and resources as needed resolve production bottlenecks ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures SOPs Good Manufacturing Practices GMP Standard Work SW supervise coach mentor hourly associates achieve performance goals conduct regular one-on-one meetings performance reviews P4G provide constructive feedback develop individualized training development plans aligned with career growth business objectives foster positive work environment promote engagement accountability teamwork enforce safety protocols conduct daily safety audits incident investigations serve key contributor VSM find root causes issues monthly Bowler targets engage Continuous Improvement efforts Daily Management DM Sustaining Kaizen Results Problem Solving Process PSP partner Quality Maintenance Engineering Planning resolve issues optimize production ultimately held accountable sustaining improvements driving results coordinate HR staffing disciplinary actions employee relations matters travel off-site facilities programs benchmarks support training activities functions other duties assigned Production Manager.
