    Aviation Specialties Unlimited is seeking a highly skilled Night Vision Goggle Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining night vision goggles for recertification's. You will work closely without team to ensure that our clients receive high-quality, reliable, and effective night vision goggles. This role will assist with maintaining records systems, documentation on goggle sales, customer maintenance compliance and goggle inforamtion as well as packaging and shipping NVG equipment securely, safely and accurately.

    Responsibilities

    • Inspect and test night vision goggles to identify issues and malfunctions
    • Repair and maintain night vision goggles to ensure optimal performance
    • Complete work orders and documentation in compliance within business rules.
    • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to night vision goggles.
    • Communicate with customers and team members to ensure project deadlines are met
    • Identify and solicit new customer opportunities for goggle services.
    • Initiate contact with customers to verify service compliance an service agreement validation.
    Requirements:
    • Associate degree in related field is preferred.
    • Three (3) to Five (5) years of goggle maintenance and repair required
    • Must be able to work well both independently and with others. Must have a good working knowledge of night vision technology, operation of testing equipment and ability to diagnose and repair equipment. Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials endorsement within six (6) months of hire date.
    • Must be able to stand, sit, walk and climb steps to the second-floor senior management offices. Must have use of hands, arms, eyes, ears and voice. Frequently required to use the phone, fax, copy machine, and to use a computer. Must be able to drive and/or fly on commercial or private aircraft to interface with customers, vendors and suppliers.
    • Must be able to think logically in a busy environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively (reading, writing and speaking) the English language. Must know and understand terminology related to the aviation and night vision industry. Must possess strong writing skills and must be able to present ideas clearly. Must be able to excel in a team-oriented work environment.
    • Minimum of (3) Years related experience and NVG Repairman Certificate.
