Insight Global is seeking 1 Performance Engineer to join a Fortune 10 retail company who can sit fully remote.

These individuals will come from a performance Engineering background and be responsible for maintaining Jmeter scripts developed by application support.

This will be part of the level 2 support team and will be responsible for understanding how to make these updates when needed.

They will participate in daily execution in performance testing based on shift needs. They will also participate in the initial triage of application code (in Java) to point out the issue.

It is very important that this candidate has experience with a core Java development background so that they can find performance bottlenecks.

They will be participating in the initial triage of infrastructure issues where they can help point out the issue .

They will be working to interpret scripts to automate redundant activities as well.

This Candidate should be expected to have flexibility in their work schedule as shift times vary from 8:00am-8:00pm with a weekend shift every 6 weeks, but will not exceed 40 hours a week.

This team receives the code that is required to be tested, audit the code and then proceed with code reviews.

This doesn't have to be a full time developer but someone who has development skillset to do the performance testing.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years in Java Development

Cloud Experience-Azure but open to other platforms

Any experience with App Monitoring tool- App Dynamics

Experience working in all things Linux

Experience with Splunk *Any experience running performance test scripts using Jmeter or loadrunner
