    Description


    Skyline Products has designed and manufactured sign solutions for the transportation and petroleum industries for more than 40 years SummaryA Skyline Welder, lays out, fits, and welds/fabricates aluminum components to assemble structural forms.

    You do not need to be certified to weld, however, you must pass a weld test, and be extremely accurate in reading a tape measure.

    Work experience in aluminum MIG welding required.

    RequirementsSelects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and weldingLay out, positions, aligns, and fits components togetherBolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for weldingSets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding processesAssembles parts by bolting and rivetingRepairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling partsAWS D 1.


    2 Aluminum Certification credentials :
    not required but preferredAluminum Fabrication SkillsOther duties may be assignedPass a weld test, background check, and drug test.
    Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing lbs.
