    Job Summary


    The primary responsibilities of the job include but not limited to, RNA/DNA/protein isolation and quantification, microRNA analysis, PCR, RT-qPCR, cloning, Western blot analysis, cell culture, primary cell isolation, immunohistology staining and imaging, buffer and solution preparation.

    Rodent work includes general husbandry, breeding, surgery, perfusion, brain tissue collection, fixation, and sectioning.

    Other duties includes inventory management, ordering supplies, biohazard waste management, and general upkeep of the lab. The job requires a good computer skills and basic data analysis.

    Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

    Experience with microRNA experiments and rodent work preferred.
