Job Summary

Assists a research team with product development, performing a wide variety of tasks.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Safety Compliance: Practices safe work habits and adheres to quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
Maintenance and Repair: Computes mathematical procedures, ensures accurate component preparation, and develops products for testing.
Product Testing: Inspects and operates completed products to verify functioning and conformance to requirements.
Quality Assurance: Accurately records results and documentation for certification of product to customer requirements.
Inventory Management: Maintains inventory of test parts and equipment.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleans office area and lab facility.

Requirements

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read and understand detailed instruction drawings and specifications on wellhead equipment and valves.
Quality System Knowledge: Knowledge of good document control and process flow.

Physical Demands

Physical Requirements: Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand, walk and sit; talk and hear.
Vision Requirements: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Workplace Exposure: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
