    We currently have a need for a Project Manager to deliver the network upgrades and client connectivity for global financial services clients. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years' experience as a Project Manager. Global Financial Services experience is required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Project manager dedicated to providing support to the bank's client connectivity technology infrastructure
    • Manage SDWAN and cloud connectivity projects
    • Track & report project activities, including but not limited to project management/reporting
    • Oversee & manage day to day activities of Network Engineer(s)
    • Work with External Vendors for extranet connectivity
    • Manage collaboration with Network Design Engineer(s) throughout implementation
    • Manage vendor staging of new network equipment
    • Provide timely and accurate publication of all project deliverables owed by network deployment engineer, which include but are not limited to the following:
    • Manage coordination and delivery of all project services, as described by Project Description.
    • Coordinate with service and application testers to certify new network before, during and after each change
    • Comply with all standard network deployment practices while implementing this project
    • Represent all network implementation activities that involve the production network that are performed throughout this project at weekly change review meetings
    • Conduct weekly project status meetings, publish weekly status reports and provide accurate and timely status updates to the stakeholders
    • Meet all target dates as detailed in the project schedule

    Skills required:

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to forge effective business partnerships within IT.
    • Extensive experience with managing client expectations and communicating effectively with senior management and executive management.
    • Prior experience managing strategic and/or cross-organizational projects and planning and tracking multiple complex projects or programs required
    • Strong financial/budgetary management skills are a must
    • Advanced Degree preferred, PMP or equivalent certifications desired
    • History of deep technical experience utilizing network latency management solutions
    • Previous experience managing Cisco Network Engineering projects
    • Familiarity with Cloud based technologies. Managing new implementations and builds a plus
    • Proficient in routing protocols: TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, Multicast, IP CEF
    • Through understanding of IP concepts including routing, VLAN's, QoS, tuning and capacity management concepts
    • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, including stack and driver protocol optimizations and their interaction with the network
    • Ability to analyze and design network systems to achieve efficient and secure operation

    This position is onsite 5 days a week in NYC and pays a salary up to $135,000 annually.
