    Description

    SUMMARY

    The Lowell Youth Commission consists of a minimum of 3 student members and upwards to 21 members, who must be residents of Lowell between the ages of 14-19 years old. The Lowell Youth Commission shall carry out programs which may be designed or established to meet the opportunities, challenges and problems of youth of the City and in conjunction with any similar agency of the commonwealth.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Attend monthly meetings.

    Act as a mentor and leader to younger members of the commission

    Conduct outreach at local high schools and youth groups when the need arises.

    Promote and propose youth programs and policies to the City Administration and City Council (when necessary)
