- Applying paint and other coatings manually and with spray applicators
- Spraying multiple types of finishes, paints, and coatings to various materials
- Sanding and smoothing the item in preparation for finishing
- Understanding specifications of the project and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and following written instructions
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Working with glues and bonding materials
- Cutting and assembling materials to specifications
- Using power tools and hand tools to cut and prepare materials for assembly
- Follows all safety standards and procedures
- Keeping shop and work area clean and organized
- Works with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality

- Experience in commercial, residential or auto body repair and finish work preferred but not required
- Experience with PPG or Matthews paint mixing systems strongly considered
- Familiarity with a variety of paint finish techniques on diverse substrates
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- A keen eye for color detail and results-driven approach
- Outstanding written, email and oral communication

- Able to lift up to 50-70 pounds unassisted
