Dive into an exciting role as an Account Executive, joining a collaborative, fast-growing team where you'll help build and scale our go-to-market engine with strong onboarding, coaching, and peer support to help you succeed. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll navigate real-time iteration, paddle through challenging waves, and shape how we show up and win in the market. This role is ideal for someone with strong competitive drive, deep curiosity, and a passion for mastering the art and science of complex SaaS sales.

Your Location, Your Workspace, Your Wave

We're looking for the right person to join our team, and we want to set you up to ride the wave successfully from day one. To support a strong onboarding experience, you'll spend your first two months working in office getting immersed in our rhythms, collaborating closely with the team, and building the foundation you need to thrive.

After that, this role offers flexibility:

  • Remote option for those outside the region
  • Hybrid option if you're in the Kitchener/Waterloo area and want to enjoy our amazing space at Catalyst Commons

How Will You Make an Impact:

  • Generate, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in a complex SaaS environment
  • Use data-driven prospecting techniques ("the Science") to consistently create healthy pipeline
  • Guide prospects through a structured evaluation journey ("the Transition & Curation")
  • Build trust, rapport, and long-term relationships that lead to successful closing ("the Artform")
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy
  • Maintain accurate, disciplined activity and organization in HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Work toward clear weekly production and performance metrics, while focusing on thoughtful, high-quality conversations that create real value for prospects
  • Seek continuous feedback, coaching, and opportunities to level up your craft

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • 1–5 years of experience in sales, customer-facing, or relationship-based roles (SaaS experience is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Exposure to a complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Familiarity with tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or Salesforce
  • Comfort working in a metrics-informed environment, with support and coaching along the way
  • French is an asset but not required to catch this wave.

This role offers a competitive compensation package with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $100,000–$150,000, structured as a 50/50 split between base salary and variable commission. This salaried position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week.  More senior candidates may apply but note that the salary for the position has been set at the range listed.
