Then consider joining us as a Quality and Safety Manager in Piscataway, New Jersey

    Your Role

    You will be responsible for the overall quality and safety for the full environment of our new distribution center.

    We will count on your knowledge of ISO QSHE standards and successful track record implementing and leading quality and safety programs to ensure a safe, accident-free environment and that products are safe, reliable, and meet or exceed quality guidelines.

    Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

    Your Responsibilities

    Be the subject matter expert for quality and safety matters
    Conduct investigations and take the lead in root cause analysis and corrective actions
    Coordinate and implement related standards and procedures
    Train staff and supervisors on accident and injury prevention, product and process safety, and good work practices
    Maintain employee awareness and compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, & Environment)
    Monitor and advise on product quality matters
    Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures; identify and assist with implementing improvements
    Assess and prevent health and safety hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions
    Track and validate approved suppliers list through our supplier management tools
    Maintain calibration records, reports, and equipment documentation
    Maintain QSHE training matrix, training records, and certificates
    Host audits conducted by clients, third parties, and government agencies
    Your Skills and Experiences

    Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    4+ years' experience in quality and safety
    Management and leadership experience
    Strong knowledge of OSHA, employment standards, legislation, common workplace hazards, and associated controls
    Knowledge of quality systems (GxP, ISO, Lean, TPS, etc.)
    Proficient MS Word and PowerPoint, and can maintain complex Excel spreadsheets
    1+ years of Continuous Improvement experience using Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies
    Experience leading Kaizen events
