    Job Description:

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Perform all aspects of Mammography including screening, diagnostic, and needle localization.
    • Operate imaging equipment and position patients accurately.
    • Calculate exposure factors to minimize radiation.
    • Ensure radiation protection for patients and staff.
    • Evaluate radiographs for quality and take additional images if needed.
    • Report equipment issues promptly.
    • Interact professionally with patients, co-workers, and medical staff.
    • Assist in student radiographer training.

    Efficiently manage time, patient flow, and clerical tasks to improve department efficiency and minimize patient wait times.



    • Awareness of Universal Precaution guidelines.
    • Attend yearly safety in-service programs.
    • Practice aseptic technique when required.
    • Maintain accurate records and complete Epic entries.
    • Meet education and licensing requirements.


    • Required Qualifications:
    • Two years of Radiologic Technology training with one year of radiography experience.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
    • Licensed in Mammography and Radiography in Massachusetts.
    • Good interpersonal skills.


    Shift schedule is Monday through Friday.
