Job summary
The Shop Technician position will be responsible for ensuring that all rental equipment is functioning and maintained.Should have a clear understanding of television/film production and the ability to work closely with clients to provide technical support.
This role is located in Stamford, CT and reports to the VP, Gear Shop.This position is temporarily covering a leave of absence, but has the potential to become permanent based on department needs and performance.
This assignment is expected to go through at least April 2026.- Manage inventory of rental equipment physically and in our rental software application system
- Initiate any repairs, routine cleanings of audio & video equipment, and ensure equipment meets our quality control standards
- Conduct check in/out of equipment orders
- Ensure safe transfer and shipment of equipment
