    NJ/NY Gotham FC ('Gotham FC' or 'the Club') is a National Women's Soccer League ('NWSL') team representing New Jersey and New York.

    The team plays at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.


    The Role:


    Gotham FC is seeking a Director of Integrated Marketing to lead the creation, planning, and execution of creative endeavors for the club.

    This individual will be responsible for driving a highly creative and impactful marketing plan for the club, developing content that amplifies the club's social and digital presence, and leading with a highly creative, outside of the box approach to increaseing overall awareness of the club.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Own the planning of Gotham's marketing channel across ticket sales, game day, events, and other marketing activitiesLead cross-channel marketing, including creative execution, for all key customer moments, ticketing and eventsCreate a marketing plan to drive ticket sales for Gotham's Founder's Club, season's ticket holders, partial plans and single game ticketsPlan & execute promotional events to drive new ticket purchases, including watch parties, player announcement events, fan events and other special eventsCraft the marketing strategy for each individual Theme Night & Celebrations; Create and manage a multi-channel marketing plan that uses fan experience, merchandise, special guests and cultural events as marketing moments uniquely for each gameEnsure digital (email/SMS, web, paid, digital, etc.), social & content plans support and amplify marketing strategyOwn development, design and sales of merchandise for fans, including pre-season, themed and special event merchandiseOwn marketing activation for game day, including (door giveaways, fan communication, Fan Fest, onsite creative, etc.) and entertainment, alongside Fan ExperienceWork alongside the Partnership team in developing content and marketing strategies that highlight and amplify our key partnershipsEnsure celebrity owners and other key talent have a role to play in amplifying GothamEnsure on-time and on-budget marketing approaches that hit brand and sales goalsQualifications: At least 7 years of prior experienceExperience working in an integrated marketing role, with growth, brand, events and retention marketing experience required; Sports and ticketing experience preferred but not requiredMinimum of 1 year experience managing a marketing team of at least 2 employeesDemonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environmentAbility to build strategies and manage tactical execution across all channelsExperience creating and effectively managing a marketing calendar and budgetCross-functional stakeholder experience with Partnership, Events, Comms and Ticketing teamsHighly effective communicator, both written and verbalCraft and communicate compelling narratives, tactical executionProven creativity and capable project management skillsExperience with marketing analytics and an understanding of data outputs.

    Has the ability to explore results to make thoughtful and strategic decisions for the organization, while understanding the impact on the business and the return on investmentCapability & Other Characteristics:

    Experience working in the sports, ticket sales and/or live event space preferredKnowledge of the surrounding NJ/NY area with regard to potential marketing opportunitiesAbility to think outside of the box and create unique content, while ensuring projects are completed in a timely mannerLegally authorized to work in the United StatesLocation:Based at Gotham FC's business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place, Jersey City, New Jersey, on a hybrid working schedule which consists of three core in-office/in-person days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two non-core days (Monday and Friday), with the option of being in the business office or remote.

    Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Ability to work at the team's soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed.

    Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC's offices, practice facility and Red Bull Arena.
