- 8 years of experience developing comprehensive and innovative technical solutions with at least 1 year experience with 1 of the 3 major cloud service providers (Amazon, Microsoft, or Google).
- Experience architecting and migrating on-premises applications into a cloud platform.
- Experience with AWS services, specifically CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS.
- Experience with Python and/or JavaScript (specifically NodeJS interactions for Lambda).
- Experience with Bash & PowerShell scripting.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline. Associate level certification is a substitute for 2 years' experience.
- Experience with Docker and AWS ECS and/or EKS.
- Experience with Linux administration.
- Software/COTS: Databricks, Elasticsearch, Accumulo, Hadoop, Docker, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Apache ZooKeeper.
- AWS Suite with Lambda.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience with Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, REST, JSF, Hadoop, HIVE, AWS Services (Code Commit/Build/Deploy/Pipeline, ECR, EC).

Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is seeking a candidate to fulfill the critical role of evaluating AWS cloud services continually and providing recommendations to the government regarding implementation strategies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
· Developing strategies for failure/recovery
· Conducting cost optimization analyses
· Performing benefit analyses of cloud-native, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services
This position requires a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
This position may have the potential to offer hybrid support, subject to customer approval.
