    The Staff Physician plays a vital role in providing clinical care to patients, leveraging their specialty training to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Medical Care:
      • Deliver high quality clinical care in a multidisciplinary environment
      • Maintain the standard of clinical care by using diagnostic testing appropriately and providing treatment
      • Use diagnostic testing effectively while minimizing costs
      • Seek consultation and make referrals when necessary
    • Patient Focus:
      • Engage patients in their care effectively
      • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all aspects of patient care
      • Consider the psychosocial aspects of both health and disease
    • Workplace Requirements:
      • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation
    • Compliance and Policy:
      • Make meaningful progress toward quality improvement goals

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team
    • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft office suite, electronic medical records, and practice management system

    Education and Experience:

    • Hold an M.D. or D.O. in a primary care specialty with completion of an accredited residency training program
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible
    • Completion of medical degree and an accredited residency program
    • Hold appropriate Maryland licensure and clinical certification, DEA, and Maryland CDS
    • Interest in community health settings and experience working in diverse environments
    • Able to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals
    • Excellent communication and team skills required
