- Accurately prepare sketches, maps, and land descriptions.
- Design and create land divisions.
- Work with town officials to receive subdivision approvals.
- Train new survey team members and direct their work activities, such as performing boundary line maintenance.
- Possess positive communications skills through telephone, email, and in-person conversations with team members, town officials, and clients.
- Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving; ability to develop solutions. for customers.

- Bachelor's degree in survey or related field
- 3 years of survey-related work experience
- Professional Surveyors License
- CPR, AED, First Aid certification
- 1 year of survey-related work OR education experience
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear on a daily basis.
- Reach at or above shoulder height frequently
- Frequent use of both hands
- Lift 40 pounds
- Carry 30 pounds
- Walk and hike up to 4 miles per day on uneven ground that may also present obstacles.
- See accurately up close as well as far away.
- Minimal color discrimination and depth perception
- The ability to work-in a normal temperature range for Central Maine Region.
- Exposure to periodic moderate to loud noise, below 85db
- Ability to wear OSHA required PPE

Position Summary:
Treeline's Survey Technician & Team Lead performs both field and office work related to the location and title status of properties. This person works closely with licensed surveyors and Treeline's survey technicians. The Survey Technician & Team Lead collaborates with Treeline's logging, construction, and real estate teams to establish and maintain the location of property boundaries, perform mapping, create new property divisions, work with town officials, and organize workflows and productivity goals for the survey team.
