    **Description**

    As our Intermediate Buyer you will primarily be responsible for purchases for all production requirements (excluding raw material (resin, colorant), services and service contracts, assets and equipment) based on the scheduled work orders per the Buy To Order and Min/Max System processes. This position also manages the required Vendor documents for USMCA certificates and the Supplier Diversity program.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Responsible for assessing requirements based on scheduled work orders as well as forecast data (provided by Supply Chain Manager) to place orders for all purchased components using the Buy to Order and Min/Max system processes

    Responsible for negotiating first pass pricing with Vendors and submitting to Senior Buyer for final review and next level negotiation

    Enters and reviews all Purchase Orders for purchased components in compliance with approval process and price optimization.

    Monitors deliveries against open Purchase Orders; addresses all Past Due Purchase Orders with Requestor and/or Vendor.

    Establishes and maintains a Vendor Scorecard and Performance tracking and rating system

    Prepares all new Vendor set up paperwork and submits to Accounting

    Obtains USMCA certificates from Vendors (materials and components used in production of finished goods) and provides them to Logistics Manager for USMCA compliance

    Establishes and maintains system to ensure annual review and coordination

    Works with Customer Service Lead on the maintenance and growth of the Supplier Diversity Program

    **Qualifications:**

    Four (4) year degree in Procurement/Purchasing and/or equivalent experience required

    5+ years of Purchasing/Procurement experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment required

    Must be a self-starter with high initiative and ability to work independently

    Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects to meet deadlines

    Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system (IQMS preferred)

    Strong communication skills required both written and oral
