    Operations Manager:

    Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 / year, Depending on Experience
    Shift Schedule: M-F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
    Location: Denver, CO 80216
    Experience: Minimum 1-3 Years Operations/Management Experience is required.

    As a part of our client's mail services division in Denver, the Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of mail activity, manage and coordinate personnel, and address any facility/vehicle needs.     Operations Manger Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing and maintaining the mail services facility in Denver and effectively managing all aspects of facility obligations.
    • Managing all daily mail activity in Denver, including delivery, pickup, metering, sorting, and special projects.
    • Serving as the direct supervisor of all the employees at the facility
    • Scheduling and monitoring personnel needs, including managing timecards, coordinating with temp agencies, and addressing changes in workload.
    • Conducting HR-related tasks with direct reports, including but not limited to hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating.
    • Monitoring the daily activities to ensure goals are being met
    • Ensuring the sorting and processing of customer mail and related items, both incoming and outgoing, are in accordance to the company's guidelines.
    • Maintaining an inventory of supplies for all machines to prevent unnecessary downtime.
    • Documenting and addressing all vehicle needs associated with the mail service division, including route management (when applicable).
    • Enforcing and adhering to the goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems implemented at the location.
    • Addressing and resolving any location specific issues/concerns related to shipping/receiving, mail operations, and the building infrastructure.
    • Evaluating and implementing business strategies that will improve the day-to-day operations with a focus on process efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.

    Operations Manager Requirements:

    • Demonstration of leadership skills
    • Industry-related knowledge is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstration of critical thinking, problem solving, coordination, and decision making
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
    • Adhere to the company dress code (e.g. company apparel, professional appearance)
    • Valid Driver's License
