    Description

    Job Duties:

    • Professional TA is hired to support faculty member and work one on one with students during hands-on lab setting (or break out-group.); may be asked to assist with Canvas management.
    • The Professional TA is intended for lab/manipulation courses, classes with break out groups or cross campus classes.
    • The Professional TA may grade exams or quizzes that are not Scantron-based, evaluate and assess students per contracted faculty.
    • The Professional TA may assist in teaching demonstrations, assist in answering questions during class sessions, tutor and supervise open labs. May be asked to provide coverage of the faculty during absences.
    • The Professional TA is not responsible for determining a student's final grade but may consult with contracted faculty regarding performance. Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Licensed ND
    • Demonstrate consistent and professional behavior and communication (both verbal and written).
