- School behavior technicians specialize in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with behavioral challenges or disabilities. They work closely with students, teachers, and other school staff to promote positive behavior and academic success.programs in behavior management techniques and interventions.
- Scope of Practice: Behavior techs focus specifically on addressing behavior-related issues in school settings. They may work with individual students or small groups to implement strategies outlined in BIPs, collect data on behavior progress, and collaborate with school teams to adjust interventions as needed.
- Full-Time
- 30 hours per week
- Full 2024/2025 school year
- Must be okay with the following:
- Riding the bus to and from school
- Diapering and/or toileting
- Feeding/assisting with meals
- Lifting or working with students in a wheelchair
- Working with non-verbal students
- Working with students with specific behavior concerns
- Working with more than one student at a time
- Working with a student of the opposite gender
- Weekly pay
- W-2
- Medical, Dental, and Vision
- High school diploma
- Experience with behavior
- Driver's license
- Prior school experience preferred but not required
