    Description

    Location/Remote: Hybrid Remote in Atlanta, GA i.e., 2 days onsite/week)

    Employment Type: Direct Hire / Permanent / Full-time

    Compensation: up to $110k/year (depending on experience)

    Benefits: medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, HSA/FSA, term life, and supplemental health insurances (e.g., Aflac) for all W-2 employees (and their families if needed), 401(k) + 3% match, 21 days PTO

    We are seeking a talented mid-level Java Developer with expertise in building RESTful APIs and server-side business logic using Java EE / Jakarta EE / Spring, and any relational/SQL database. As a Backend Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems that power our web applications.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 4+ years of web application development experience using Java
    • Proficiency in relational database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar.
    • Any front-end development experience specific to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Solid understanding of web technologies and protocols including HTTP, JSON, and REST.
    • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
    • Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.

    Preferred Skills (not required):

    • Experience with J2EE/Java EE/Jakarta EE components like Java Servlets, JSP, JDBC and EJB
