Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IT Sourcing Manager
responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing IT supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost optimization efforts.
The ideal candidate will support procurement of IT hardware, software, SaaS solutions, and data center components while ensuring compliance with SLAs and company policies. Fluency in Chinese is mandatory to support China-related contracts and vendor engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Initiate, execute, evaluate, and manage strategic IT sourcing activities.
- Identify and evaluate potential IT suppliers based on business needs, budget, and technical requirements.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies through vendor negotiation and alternative sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong vendor and service provider relationships.
- Engage suppliers to ensure timely delivery and performance alignment.
Contract Negotiation & Compliance
- Negotiate contracts to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
- Draft, review, and manage IT contracts and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations.
- Negotiate on-premises and SaaS agreements in collaboration with legal and business units.
Cost Optimization & Supply Chain Coordination
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Coordinate with IT teams for hardware/software purchases, renewals, and decommissioning.
- Assist in procuring data center (DC) items and understand related operational capabilities.
- Support smooth integration of new systems and technologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage internal stakeholders to understand IT requirements.
- Align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with IT and operations teams.
- Provide periodic updates to management on vendor performance and contract health.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandatory).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT supply chain management or similar sourcing role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience managing China-based vendor contracts from the U.S.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SaaS and data center procurement.
- Experience in recruitment sourcing environments.
