    Description

    Warehouse & Production Manager

    Suffern, NY

    Will be responsible for overseeing operations of the warehouse facility, as well as the Production Department. This includes ensuring all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed timely and properly and the production of quality product in a sanitized environment,

    efficiently and in accordance with need.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a clean, organized and safe facility by instituting a plan and responsibility for each of these functions.
    • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization at all times.
    • Training of all warehouse personnel. Develop a training program around forklift certification and propone storage.
    • Establish practices and procedures to achieve an efficient warehouse. Use analytical statistic to drive that efficiency.
    • Ensure all warehouse personnel report on time, work productively and efficiently. Ensure accountability.
    • Accountable / responsible for all Inventory - Accuracy and Damage
    • Instituting and overseeing cycle counts according to the cycle count SOP.
    • Ensure all incoming inventory is:
    • Counted, agrees with the Purchase Order (PO) and is signed for
    • All differences from PO are communicated to accounting personnel
    • Is stored in proper location
    • Ensure adequate levels of inventory at all times (maybe notify when you see something)
    • Analyzing overtime to determine the most efficient full-time employee structure.
    • Notify COO and accounting personnel of any obsolete or damaged inventory issues
    • Ensure all customer orders are shipped on time, as well as ready for pick up on time.
    • Ensure all items & "picked" for delivery to customers are:
    • Staged properly
    • Agree with the customer order
    • All differences from customer order are communicated to accounting personnel
    • Ensure all customer deliveries are supported by a signed Bill of Lading, and scanned daily.
    • Ensure all customer returns are communicated to accounting personnel
    • Preparing daily production schedule and modify as required including daily stock/seasonal/promotions
    • Oversee and delegate FSMA warehouse and production requirements
    • Development of and managing to annual warehouse budgets
    Requirements:
    • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager with ability to learn and master companies ERP system.
    • Cycle counting / order checking
    • Experience in warehouse management procedures and best practices
    • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
    • Knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
    • Leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate staff
    • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
    Warehouse Hours of Operation

    Mon - Thu 8:30am - 6:30pm 10 hours

    Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm 5-1/2 hours
