    • Number of Beds - Bed Capacity is 32
    • Number of Staff - Unit has 40 employees

    Type of staff:
    Director, manager, CN's, Staff RN's, LVN's, Nurse Aides, and Unit secretaries.
    o Day Shift - CN, 3-5 staff nurses (depending on census), 2-3 nurse aides, and US
    o Night Shift - CN, 3-5 staff nurses (depending on census), 2-3 aides.


    • Patient Ratios - 6-7 patients per nurse; 2-3 nurses depending of census.
    • Type of equipment - PCA pumps, IV pumps

    Typical hiring profile

    Skill Set Most recruited for:
    (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

    Must have:
    candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.


    • Med-Surg experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years recent hospital experience

    Preferred or nice to have:
    candidates with these skills will be considered first.


    • Surgical experience; bilingual preferred but not a must;
    • Experience with Meditech
    List typical procedures performed on unit(s):


    • dmissions, discharges, transfers;
    • Wound care, IV's, Blood administration, collecting of specimens, medication administration

    Dress Code:
    Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.


    • Scrub Color - Royal Blue; Only scrub jacket in white or royal blue may be used; no outside jackets.
