    Description

    Job Title:

    A Civil Structural Engineer-In-Training (EI) is sought to bolster the team of professionals supporting clients across the US.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct field observations and data collection.
    • Prepare reports detailing observations made and results obtained.
    • Work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
    • State EI-certification required.
    • Preparedness to take the P.E. exam within one to three years of employment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to perform minor structural design.
    • Familiarity with building envelope and roofing systems.

    Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
    • Travel to project sites and conduct field investigations.
    • Work at heights.
    • Work in hot and cold environments, both indoors and outdoors.
    • Access and work on roofs, scaffolds, lifts, and other elevated surfaces, and in enclosed spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.) with appropriate personal protection.
    • Lift, transport, set up, and utilize an extension ladder to access roofs and other elevated surfaces.
    • Physically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
