Knowledge of nursing principles (geriatrics) and professional standards of nursing practice and ability to apply them to resident specific circumstances
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to assign tasks, encourage staff, produce positive outcomes, and improve quality
Flexible and adaptable to multiple variations in a daily schedule
CBRF and/or RCAC nursing experience (assisted living, elderly care, clinic, patient care, nursing home, long term care, and/or memory care)
Assume responsibility for all direct patience care activities as indicated by DON within scope of federal, state and company regulations, policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate residents' needs and changes in behavior with staff
Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
Develop working knowledge of all federal, state and company regulations, policies and procedures; Ability to speak, read and write English
Degree from accredited school of nursing; valid and current nursing license in the state of Wisconsin in good standing
Possess sufficient organizational and interpersonal skills to assign tasks, encourage staff, produce positive outcomes, and improve quality
Competency and ability to utilize a floor lift, sit-to-stand and friction-reducing devices
Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines
