Aurora Central Catholic High School seeks a Varsity Girls Flag Football Head Coach to join a growing Athletic department committed to seeing student-athletes succeed in all their endeavors. The successful candidate will bring a positive, professional, and collaborative mindset. They will also bring a strong work ethic and embrace the school's core values. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who seeks to make an impact in a fast paced, purposeful work environment and who understands the importance of contributing to the broader life of the school community.
Qualifications - Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree
• Head coach experience, ideally in a high school, college, or university setting.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Team-oriented individual with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to represent the school and program in a professional and enthusiastic manner to on and off campus constituencies.
• Knowledge of social media and methods of program promotion.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Athletic Director, the Varsity Girls Flag Football Head Coach will be responsible for the following:
• Supervises and operates all phases of a competitive flag football program.
• Plans, organizers and administers all in-season practice sessions.
• Oversee the issuing and collecting of all equipment, uniforms, supplies, and materials.
• Create an environment that encourages participation and implements methods to grow flag football program in its first year starting fall of 2026.
• Maintains positive public relations with the community through an assortment of events including camps and clinics.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of IHSA rules and regulations.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of Aurora Central Catholic High School and the Rockford Archdiocese.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Description
$4000-$8000 season stipend based on experience
