As a Power Platform Technical Consultant, you will be a key aspect of our mission to understand and transition functional concepts into technical solutions using modern design principles and best practices insoftware development for our customers and internal initiatives.
You will be expected to execute technical and integration designs, along with documenting and communicating effort estimates and risks to solution architects, management, and clientele.
This position combines a strong focus on development skills with an equally important emphasis on requirement analysis.To achieve success, our consultants demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, define and lead team efforts and utilize flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions.
You must have excellent communication, analytical, and development skills to excel in this role.Essential Functions
Execute technical project delivery in a technical consultant and/or developer role with technical analysis, code review, and code performance optimization contributing to successful Power Platform and Dynamics implementations.
Write technical design documents and process flowsImplementation of technical solutions for projects to optimize operational efficiency using development best practices.
Continuous learning on latest related technologies
Provide community subject matter expertise on Power Platform technologies by presenting relevant social media content.
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
Experience in multiple Power Platform and/or D365 projects
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/FS in the following areas:
Minimum 3-5+ years consulting/development experience in Microsoft technologies
Power Pages (Power Apps Portals)
Model driven forms, views, workflows and reports development
Data Modeling and mapping
Understanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patterns
Role-based security design and customization
Development and change tracking using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps/GIT
Code build and deployment via Azure DevOps
Experience conducting code reviews
Experience with unit testing for the new functionality developed
Ability to organize, prioritize, estimate and deliver tasks meeting deadlines
Confidence and willingness to expand technical prowess
Ability to adapt to constantly evolving technologies Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively
Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
Dynamics 365 FO/AX experience
Standard Dynamics CE apps, such as Field Service, Sales, Project Ops, etc
PowerBI Report development and advanced data modeling
Dual-Write integration
Working knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse
Understanding of Azure/Dynamics Licensing and Costing
