A freight forwarding company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English IT Strategic Planner to join their team in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for developing and planning strategies to ensure business efficiency as well as communicating with IT programmers and developers. A bachelor's degree in a related field, IT experience, background in manufacturing or import/export trading company, experience in strategic planning, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k. ***Freight forwarding experience is a big plus but not mandatory.***
Bilingual Japanese/English IT Strategic PlannerDuties:
-Support the implementation of DX functions and processes
-Outline the company's strategy and mission
-Develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze business proposals
-Communicate with IT developers and programmers to ensure smooth operations
-Assess the company's operational and strategic performance
-Evaluate the implemented strategies to assess their effectiveness and make modifications as needed
-Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes
-Inform senior executives of findings to make effective business decisions
-Construct forecasts and analytical models
-Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes
Bilingual Japanese/English IT Strategic PlannerSkills:
-Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
-Must have IT experience
-Must have experience in manufacturing or import/export trading
-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese
-Must have strategic planning experience
-Knowledge of business procedures and operations
-Excellent communication skills
