Summary: Seeking a Quality Inspector with CMM experience to perform daily inspections, assess non-conforming products, and provide measurement verification.

Requirements:

Experience as an inspector, preferably in the medical device industry
Proficiency with specialized inspection/test equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Vision Systems (e.g., Keyence Optical Measurement Systems, Micro Vu Video Measuring Machine), Optical Comparator (standard and eCAD), Micrometer, Calipers, Drop indicator, Pull-force tester, Hardness tester
High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

Competency in Microsoft Office Programs
Familiarity with ISO 13485 standard and CFR 820 regulations
Understanding of Statistical Process Control principles
Ability to read and interpret prints and customer requirements

Responsibilities:

Perform daily inspections and communicate findings to Quality and area manager
Assess non-conforming product for corrective/preventive action necessity
Update databases, logs, and reports
Complete quality records accurately, file appropriately
Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities for nonconforming materials
Evaluate nonconforming materials for condition input
Identify corrective/preventive action opportunities
Perform follow-up/effectiveness checks under Quality Engineers' guidance
Finalize product release activities
Support quality/performance trend monitoring through data entry
Review documentation and verify dimensions of received materials
Conduct First Article Inspection per Quality Engineering instructions
In-house calibration of gages following work instructions
Measurement/documentation support for validation activities
Verify products through in-process inspections visually and dimensionally

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
