    Part time. $18 an hour. Responsible for performing various painting tasks to support the overall operations of our organization.

    The Painter will work under the supervision of a supervisor or manager and will be expected to carry out duties such as painting, manual labor, basic maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.

    This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsManual Labor:
    Perform various painting tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
    Painting tasks include preparations, gathering materials, painting, and clean-up.
    Assist in loading and unloading trucks, as well as transporting materials to and from designated areas.


    Site Maintenance:
    Conduct routine painting maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organizing work areas.
    Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and tools as needed.


    Construction Support:
    Provide support to construction projects by handling materials, tools, and equipment.
    Assist skilled workers, such as carpenters or electricians, (when not painting) as directed.


    Operational Support:
    Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
    Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.


    Team Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to accomplish daily tasks.
    Adapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks as required.

    Physical Fitness:
    Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
    Good overall physical health and stamina.

    Preferred Education and ExperienceA high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

    Other RequirementsThis position has the following special requirements:
    Walking, and climbing (stairs & ladders) to access other departments and buildings related to painting.
    Standing for long periods (4-6 hours) unloading stock and arranging in the warehouse.
    Pushing, carrying, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds to shoulder height.
    Reaching, bending, and kneeling to stock, store, retrieve, and deliver supplies, materials, and merchandise.

    Seeing, wrist movements, and feeling to read packaging slips, handle documents, carry items, operate hand carts, and drive company vehicles.

    Talking and hearing to communicate with the supervisor and other employees throughout the Rocket Center in person and over the telephone.

    This position involves working in a climate-controlled building that is dusty, noisy, and subject to changing temperatures and inclement weather.

    This position involves working outside in various weather conditions delivering items to Rocket Center departments.
    This position deals with vendors and employees throughout the organization.
