    Job Overview:
    Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking a

    Cost Controller

    to join our Projects team in

    White Plains, New York.


    Responsibilities & Duties:
    Active member of PMO Cost Engineering - Major Projects Organization and acting as Project Cost Engineer on major capital programs that could include a substation, transmission, and distribution related projects and other emergent projects
    Consult with customers, attend status meetings, engage with people in

    other

    organizations
    Analyze cost and schedule information to generate timely reports (addressing

    project controls, project planning, scheduling and budgeting, commitment analysis, change orders)
    Processing, forecasting, trends, and estimating in support of electrical transmission

    and distribution or other large construction projects
    Lead implementation of project controls best practices and process improvement to ensure department-wide consistency, enhance communication, and improve client satisfaction
    Lead any corporate and/or program-wide process and/or quality improvement initiatives including but not limited to efforts in; SAP Release 3, P6/Contract Manager System, and Change Management Process
    Lead the preparation of cost data for use in the Yellow Book, General Rate Cases, Long Term Planning, and Corporate Goals
    Respond to cost or schedule data requests from internal or external organizations


    Qualifications & Skills:
    A four-year college degree is preferred, major in Business Administration,

    Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent technical discipline
    M aster's Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline with any AACE or PMI Certification Credential is highly
    Must have strong Scheduling & Cost Experience
    Must have experience in SAP Release 3, P6/Contract Manager System, and Change Management Process
    Proficient in Visio and Scheduling/Cost Management software (i.e. Primavera and Contract Manager)
    Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
    Strong oral and written communication skills and be able to present complex,

    technical information in simple, non-technical terms
    Must be able to work in the office 2 days a week (Hybrid Schedule)
