    Veterinary Customer Service Representative

    Dallas, TX is loving the veterinary care we're providing Because of this, we're growing and looking for friendly, pet-loving humans to join our client service team.

    Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
    • Providing concierge-style customer service and impeccable patient care
    • Work in tandem with our receptionists and veterinarians to provide our clients and patients with excellent veterinary experiences in a loving and welcoming environment
    • Answering phone calls and assisting clients with scheduling appointments and pet questions
    • Checking clients in and out and ensuring all needs have been met
    • Entering and updating client information and patient records
    • Responding to or forwarding emails (we reach inbox zero every day)
    • Interpreting Veterinarian orders and our protocols to educate clients and explain requirements
    • Visually assessing patients in the lobby and alerting hospital staff in the event of an emergency
    • Preparing documents for imaging/scanning into our electronic patient records
    • Copying, faxing, and Emailing documents to clients or physician offices. Tackling other projects as assigned (with a smile, as always)
    Job Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 2+ years of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
    • Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and hospital staff. (It's okay if you talk to animals, too)
    • Must have MS Office and G Suite experience and speed-typing skills (We like tech-savvy people).
    • Must have a pleasant presence on the phone and the ability to manage numerous calls.
    • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and move freely for extended periods of time.
    • Flexible availability.
    • Familiarity with Instagram and a desire to participate in marketing events.
    • Pets of your own (Empathy vs. sympathy).
