Company DescriptionJob DescriptionProvide quality-related documents to the manufacturing floor, including Visual Work Instructions, Boundary Boards, SpecificationsParticipate in Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP).

Perform 8D problem-solving methodology using core tools for all floor issuesParticipates in and performs Layered Process Audits (LPA) per planDevelop and implement SPC activities, including originating objectives, goals, and timetables, and implementing new techniques as they become available.

Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards such as IATFand ISO Perform capability studies on new jobs and in other situations where they are needed.

Ensure implementation of measures and maintain controls Raise awareness and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others Ensures Housekeeping and Health & Safety Standards are maintained.

Establish and implement process control plans to include capability studies, gage repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) studiesMonitor production floor processes for conformance to control plans and customer requirements which includes fit, function, reliability, durability and reappearance criteria.

Utilizes the concepts of continuous improvement including Lean.
Prepare and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages ensuring all elements are met per customer requirements.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, or related field 1 + years experience in a Quality related role; experience in a variety of basic operation disciplines:

Manufacturing, Quality, Process Ability to solve complex problems and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Proven interpersonal skills and personal development skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness and ability to travel, as necessaryPreferred Knowledge of Quality Core Tools PFMEA, Control Plan, Flow, Problem-solving, 8D methodology, APQP, MSA Mini Tab, and capability studiesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsTooling and Shop Floor Supervision Automotive industryNo Visa Sponsorship or RelocationAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
