    We are rapidly growing and are seeking a GIS Analyst to join our team.

    The GIS Analyst will work on all aspects of platform readiness, including algorithm development and implementation, user interface design, code management, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting software problems in test and production environments, and conducting break-fixes as needed.

    Job Summary:

    In consultation with applicable stakeholders, the GIS Analyst is responsible for developing and conducting spatial analysis (Density, Network Analysis, ArcGIS Server, Online, and Portal, and other ESRI software tools), including route optimization using RouteSmart and ArcGIS Network Analyst. You will have the opportunity to be part of a growing and fast-paced technology team that works on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise deployments across an Azure environment.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Design highly complex, multi-variable routing plans culminating in a dynamic scheduling environment utilized across all operational units.

    Develop and maintain necessary applications.

    Collaborate across stakeholder groups to identify future needs, develop strategy for overall scope, implementation of features and/or updates for releases, implementation of requirements, and system documentation.

    Provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop effective procedures and system requirements that align with business requirements.

    Assist in change management and adoption strategies.

    Serve as system first-level SME across management and non-management stakeholder groups.

    The Individual:

    Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of GIS technologies.

    Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.

    Demonstrate understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.

    Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

    Strong attention to detail

    Interaction with program managers, tech leads, co-developers and end-users and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts both verbally and in written documents is critical.

    Qualifications:

    At least 5 years of hands-on experience with a combination of the following technologies:

    Route Management and Optimization in ArcGIS

    SQL, preferably Postgres including the PostGIS spatial extension.

    Python, preferably with experience using the pandas and geopandas libraries.

    HTML/CSS and map-based UI design using Leaflet or another front-end GIS visualization tool.

    Experience in Azure, preferred.
