    Description

    Primary Duties:
    Slow Moving/ Obsolete (SLOB) elimination:


    Finished products:
    Run reports to identify slow moving inventory of finished and semi-finished goods across all facilities and warehouses.
    Compare stock data with consumption to determine coverage.
    Work with NMI/Procurement to align part numbers and product characteristics.
    Work with AGR Sales team to identify leverage price points.
    Work with Finance teams to determine transfer prices.
    Work with Sales team to prepare sales strategy and forecast.
    Work with Supply Chain teams to move inventory and deploy as planned.
    Follow up on product consumption and make adjustments to achieve targets.

    Semi-finished products:

    In addition to activities above, work with plant Supply Chain Managers to understand production feasibility.
    Store Spares
    Identify slow moving store items based on consumption.

    Work with local plant managers, maintenance, finance, and supply chain teams to define a list of parts that can be sold or disposed of.

    Gather product specifications, pictures and other relevant info through Maintenance teams.
    Advertise and manage the sales in through online channels e.g., Amazon, Ebay, etc
    Work with local teams to prepare items to ship items as they are sold.


    Additional support responsibilities:
    Capacity assessment for OE Feasibility
    S&OP process


    Qualifications Required:
    Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration.
    3+ years industry/functional Preferably Automotive Supply Chain.
    Experience with dealing with multiple functional areas.
    Good negotiation skills.
    Good communication skills (enjoys talking to people).
    Strong SAP experience.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and Access skills.
    Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
    Out-of-the box, creative solutions thinker, with demonstrated ability to remove barriers and execute action plans.


    Qualifications Desired:
    APICS certification
